The L333 pleco, also known as the King Tiger Pleco or Black and White King Tiger Pleco, is a popular aquarium fish known for its striking “maze-like” black and white (or yellow) stripes. It’s a member of the Loricariidae family and is generally a peaceful and hardy species.
- Water Parameters:
Prefers soft to moderate, acidic to neutral water with a pH of 6.5-7.5 and a temperature of 25-28°C (79-86°F).
- Diet:
Primarily carnivorous, they should be fed protein-rich foods like carnivore pellets, frozen bloodworms, or Repashy’s meat-based options. Some also enjoy vegetables and algae.

Tank Setup:
Needs excellent water quality, ample hiding places (caves, driftwood), and a substrate of sand or gravel.

Breeding:
They are relatively easy to breed in the aquarium, with males guarding their eggs in a cave-like structure.
